Hey!
I know. Again? In such little time.
I hope this is a good thing.
Anyway, first off, thanks again for the visits and I'm glad for the positive feedback on the last piece. Which, by the way, I didn't mention at the time, but was mostly done for Ideafixa's work with the Enox project which features works from various artists, mostly if not all from Brasil. The list and works was recently posted in Jana's flickr account, and they're pretty awesome. So check it out if you can!
Then, some drawings.
There's this large area where I live that was sort of being prepared to have houses built...sort of a plan for continuing the community which never went on. So now they just have a bunch of deserted streets, signs and lamp posts surrounded by large grass, woods, swamps and creatures.
At late afternoon the lights go on, and from a distance you think it's a ghost town. Sort of...and maybe you'd catch a resident like this one walking around.
Then some more ideas following some reason themes and narratives I have in my head.
Hope you enjoy them
Till then!

When the sun hits
Hey, how's it going? Hope it's going well!
Care for a cup? Here it is.
This one piece I made this week, and to be honest, I have mixed feelings for it.
Lilliputian Symbrome #2
- Watercolours and gouache on hotpress wc paper.
I used this composition as a last minute fail-safe for this project (thanks again to Jana and Ideafixa). I had a deadline and the original piece I wanted to complete ended up being more than I could actually handle with the amount of time I had. Which I only realised half way through. Stupid, stupid mistake.
Lesson learned.
Though it's not that I dislike it, I'm actually pleased with the results for this attempt. Although I risked exploring some uncharted territory , I also know I used some comfort zones to help accelerate the process. Something I really don't like to do. But in the end, I hope it's still enjoyable for what it is.
Sometimes we need the opportunity to try last minute plans...well, I usually do anyway. But it shouldn't be like this every time. Needless to say, I still learning, which is great.
My good friend Ashley Mackenzie blew my mind. Really.
And I can't wait to see what more things Ericka could possibly come up with.
and that's that for now.
Até mais ver

On a side note. This past month has been really great, with some good news and changes. We'll see how it goes. But I must thank all the support from whoever comes to drop off a comment or even just visit. Or even larger scale support which always overwhelms me. Really.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Too long...
Oi!
Hope you're doing well, and having a good year so far! Yes, Tycho had a bit of a close during the holidays...but now I'm back! My holidays were packed with family visits, colder weather than I am used to, and lots of food. Thus...you know.
I've been working on other pieces, but all I can post now are some of these sketches, ideas and studies so far.
As always, I tend to mix my thoughts of narrative and concepts as I go along. It's a fun process for me...anyway...
Haha..did you get that last one? 'eat well' get it? haha ha ha...yeah..
Gotta fly, thanks again for all the insane support!
I'll return soon, promise!

Oi,
Hope all goes well.
I was intending to drop off more stuff, but then thought it would be nice to center on just this one piece today.
- we fought witches in the summer
Pencils and Gouache on wc paper + Photochops
22x14 "
The music in the staff is from the game Black Belt's Boss theme.
On a side note -
Iumazark blows me away with each and every new post.
Mike Bear punched me in the face with all of his constant updates.
I like Finn's idea of trees. I think he does too.
Ericka's idea of clouds.
Schaal's idea of women.
Roger's idea of dragons.
Amanda's sketchbook.
And Toma's idea of virtually anyone.
That's it. Thanks for all the support!
gotta fly
