Hey, long time no see right?

Anyhow, I'll try to sum this up as much as possible. For the fisrt time I can positively say alot of things are happening, or trying to start happening in the last couple of months. Nothing regarding art carrer launch yet, or getting a job with it that I could possibly rely bills on. BUT, many cool projects with great friends ( and family ) seem to be on their way or madly ansious to have their first words spoken.
And I'm happy to believe in these projects and depend on them more than on worrying about money. Cause if I waste more of my time thinking about that, for sure, I'll just keep blocking myself like I usually do. So, on with the projects and productivity!

Productivity, productibity is everything.

Pencils on Sketchbook There were ideas that came to me while wandering back to when I was a kid ( something that's been helping me alot lately ). I always loved drawing animals from the National Geographic's magazine. I'd go crazy with those amazing pictures of far away places and diferent species sorounding it. I owe that magazine most of my drawings from back then. So now, I remember ( as I think many others do ) of stories a imagning me in those places with all sorts of diferent animal friends that would most likely talk and do human things I would imagine them doing. Adventures created inside my room or walking through the sidewalk on the way to school.

I can finally reach back to those thoughts, and make them as real as I can possibly imagine.

So here's the thing, I'm now practicing drawing these animals as I go through the list of people that they might be inspired on. Tea bags was just that first idea out of nowhere and a quick random curve on the paper...but Gold Coins was most likely inspired by two of the ladies I very much admire in my life. One's mom, the other is the creator of that funny yellow crow I'm doing a fanart of up there. Hopefully it's a good late birthday gift....

Anyhow, hope the post at least didn't suck :]

ps: I've been visiting Iuma, João Ruas,Toma & Rael's blog maybe too much every day, I strongly suggest you stop wasting your time here and visit them! Makes me so freaken proud of being brazilian, and also so jealous of them... ( in the good way )

Also, I'm swimming deeper and deeper into J.W. Waterhouse's work...hopefully the conceptual ideas poping in my head will make their way into paper.
