Hope everyone's doing good,
this post took longer than expected, i apoligize. Almost though! almost breaking a record..haha

Playing around, covering things i did not like, and creating things i do.

Black Swans#3/1987 - " we have come for your ears, your tranquility and 'jujubas'; do not refuse our phones" said the guards before him.
And... experimenting continues! After a sequence of happenings - a new idea regarding mixing all the good things i like media wise. Let's see what happens - maybe pop-up books from another dimension!- or so i hope.

Here's the guinea pig for this new phase - click on the image to see "final" product.

Sinfonia#1 - pencils on two bristol pages + three pieced cut-out dragon/gouache on wc paper + pop-up picture of that+scan / Prothoman cs3.

That went to the Tntema blog, for the theme japan. I guess i would have some explaining to do, but then that could ruin it right.

Just like to thank everyone,
this awesome feedback has been motivating like nothing else.
I'll answer previous comments today or morrow
inteh jaja!

JEAN!!! DEAR GOD, THIS POST!!! AND MY MIND!!! BEING EXPLODED BY SHEER BRILLIANCE!!!
this new mixed media thing has so many fantastic possibilities, I can't wait to see where you take it, and weird plant-like musical note sprout things basically made my day...
keep rocking it out!

You, my good sir, are one extremely talented young man. The sinfonia piece is exquisite. My favourite part is where the white musical notes air over the blue dragon thing, and the staff spins off in all directions. Wonderful use of graphic colour too. I can't express quite how ashamed I am of myself for not doing any work these last few days. Enough of my relentless apathy! To work! (Thanks Jean for your continued inspirational work)

Take care,
Finn

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I know I said I'd get on with some work, but instead I just spent another five minutes marvelling at your work! Can I ask what size you did the sinfonia piece at?

Cheers.

Falando em beber...precisamos marcar a nossa breja-coffee.

Seus desenhos são inspiração pura pra mim. Achei lindas as cores do dragão.

i really enjoy the finished quality you have to your sketchbook pages. each spread is a composition in itself. something i want to try to do more of for sure.

keep on posting! definitely want to see more.
