Sorry once again. I suck at updates.But there were some continuos motives this past month for me to slack off on posting. First there was internet connection...that go tsolved. Then there was work,that's being solved. but then there was a road trip!!!
One of my cousins had a wedding way up north close to Boston, so a bunch of family members from here plus more coming from Brasil went on a road trip up north. And some of us made a pit stop at NY city..hohoho
well,the trip was freaking amazing,specially for those who had never seen anything but this state in the U.S... but this blog isn't about traveling.
It's also not about how we were in a hotel RIGHT in front of DCcomics,but only found that out after we were back home....urgh.And the signs in the windows made it so obvious too...tsc.tsc.
But anyhow.
I've been meaning to make more quick sketches of my ideas, inluding quick watercolours from now on...so here's a start.A vacuum fisher boy! click it!
Then there were some more studies...
Then my smallest moleskine that I used for quick ideas finally filled up a month ago...good times.It was always there to save my ideas from dying on through those sleepless nights.
Now I have new little book for that. let's see how long it will last!
Then, there's an old sketch I was playing around with...maybe I'll post how it ends..maybe I won't...

The studies seems to be going quite well. Love the one with the hands, gotta check those as refrences for nails. The one you seem to be working on looks awesome alredy, cant wait to see it done, the one with the boy fishing seems awesome alike. Gah, gotta pratice watercolour...

Great post Jean! Love those studies, and the Vacuum Fisher boy, what an idea! As for the Brainstorm piece (I only just got the pun) its looking great already. I'm always amazed at how you handle line weight. Do you use HB for the lighter stuff?
